Diversity & Inclusion Leader DACH/BNL
After successfully completing her IT-studies at university, Uta took over several management positions in the IBM training and education department Germany. Since 2008, she is now responsible for Diversity & Inclusion and hence the implementation of the worldwide IBM Diversity Strategy in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and BeNeLux. Her main focus is on raising the awareness for diversity and promoting inclusion in the company, attracting and developing diverse talents as well as ensuring up-to-date offerings regarding Work-Life integration. In addition to her corporate responsibilities, Uta is engaged in various cross company initiatives and NGOs. She is leading the “Women in ICT” committee of Bitkom, Germany’s digital association, represents IBM in the advisory board of the German PROUTATWORK foundation, also acting as chair, and is member of the “Barrierefrei kommunizieren!” foundation’s advisory board.
