Behavioural Insights Team
Tiina set up BIT’s practice on gender equality, producing cutting edge research on what individuals and organisations can do to improve gender equality in the workplace. As part of the programme, Tiina leads on partnerships with large corporations such as Zurich and Citi. At BIT, Tiina has also led policy work on employment and welfare, applying behavioural science to support people back to work.
Prior to joining BIT, Tiina was in academia where her research focused on public attitudes towards the welfare state in Europe. She also helped set up a think tank in Finland that introduced behavioural economics to Finnish public policy.
Tiina holds a PhD in social psychology from the University of Lausanne, and a MSocSc and BSocSc from the University of Helsinki. She is currently based near Geneva, Switzerland.
