AGEAS Presentation

Building Skills for Creating Value with Predictive Analytics

Finding analytic talents (data scientists, “translators”/purple people, data engineers, etc.) is hard and expensive as there is a shortage on the market. Moreover, finding them is not enough as for creating value with analytics you need domain knowledge in the areas where it will be used.

In addition, we have all great people in our companies that deserve to be helped to upskill to new technology as opposed to be made redundant. This is why Ageas decided two years ago to launch an ambitious people development program: the Analytic Talent Development Program.

Come to the session to find out the approach used to build the program, how the program was promoted within the organization, how it is run and the first results/lessons learned.

Georges Theys / Global Head of Analytics / Ageas
