setting the scene for this masterclass, the first session will look at the global and local context for employee experience. Utilising real examples and cases, delegates will be brought up to speed on the implementation of EE within some of the World’s leading brands as well as other organisations across the economy who are pioneering this approach.
The session will also explore how developing the ‘workplace as an experience’ trend is redefining organisations and HR functions around the world.
By accident or design? the in context employee experience (including coffee/tea/networking activity)
A highly interactive and collaborative learning session which will bring delegates together to explore current context, progress and the reality of employee experience approaches within organisations and enable ‘experience’ sharing within the masterclass group. Building on the last session, delegates will be led through a 3 stage model to really bring to life an authentic employee experience from pre-hire to retire through a renewed HR and business approach. This includes practical examples from leading EE organisations and an exploration of real measures to track the impact of EE on key business and performance metrics. New approach, new mindset.
The psychology of employee experience for HR practitioners and business leaders will also come into play given the shifts experience thinking is demanding within businesses.

With so much attention now firmly focused on the quality of workplaces within the economy, a new set of challenges have emerged for organisations to attract, retain, and develop the best staff. This session will examine the impact of data, digital, and social media on the employee experience, and how organisations can leverage powerful advances within society and technology to engage internal and external audiences like never before. Whilst there are major opportunities, there are also major risks with fast-paced, free-flowing, and uncensored candour from staff, customers, and external audiences now becoming a real-time, and sometimes high profile, challenge for internal functions and people to manage; the relationship between employer brand and the employee experience is fully in focus during this session.
The Leadership ‘Experience’
A candid and engaging discussion designed to challenge thinking and shape/reposition the role of leaders within the employee experience. Given that leaders remain one of the most impact factors within the engagement levels and subsequent performance outcomes of staff and organisations, how can we fully maximise and leverage the leadership connection within the employee experience? This question is on the agenda as part of this interactive and thought-provoking dialogue.

Drawing on real examples, the session is set-up to look at how both staff and customers can be aligned and share the same mission to deliver a meaningful impact to the world. There is nothing more irresistible than employees and customers taking part in an experience that binds them together and unlocks incredible and focused performance, this session will explore how that can be achieved with key takeaways for delegates to consider within their respective companies.
The heart & soul of employee experience; transparency and trust
If you have no trust, you have no business. Transparency and trust, as research shows, are two of the vital ingredients within authentic employee experiences approaches that deliver superior results. How transparent should an organisation be with its employees? How do you build a deeper level trust as the foundation stone for excellent and high quality employee experiences? Bringing in key research on commitment and organisational integrity amongst several other key factors, this practical session will hone in on these two powerful topics and help delegates to further unlock opportunities to build, establish and maintain the strongest of connections with staff- through the employee experience.
